1 'Into the Woods'
Murphys Creek Theatre presents Stephen Sondheim's musical "Into the Woods" in an outdoor wooded amphitheater. The show features several fairy-tale characters, including Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Cinderella. The show examines what happens when the characters get their wishes.

Matty Comer Productions and Reg Evans from Central Valley Music Group are presenting an all-ages rock show. The artists performing are Ryan Toth (acoustic singer/songwriter), Asiago (alternative), Tara Tinsley (acoustic singer/songwriter), Wicked Hickie (rock), Hickory (acoustic country), Joe Barretta (old-fashioned rock), The Fabulous Rojas Brothers (rock covers). Barbecue, beer, soda and wine are also available.

3 Bike stunts
There will be high-flying fun when the Good Neighbor Bike Stunt Show featuring Team Soil of Orange County comes to Modesto on Saturday. The group will perform BMX stunts during the event, which also features a sidewalk sale and food tasting.

4 Pianist Di Wu
Di Wu, a 25-year-old award-winning and critically acclaimed piano virtuoso, and a finalist in the 2009 Van Cliburn International Competition, returns to the Gallo Center for the Arts for the second year in a row. In September, she made her Philadelphia Orchestra debut. She has been praised by the Wall Street Journal as "a most mature and sensitive pianist."
