The Grown in America Act was passed by the House of Representatives today.
Introduced by Rep. Dennis Cardoza, the resolution encourages consumers and producers to show their pride for American agriculture.
It encourages producers and farmers to display the American flag on U.S.-grown product labels, the congressman's office said in a news release.
It passed by a vote of 403-1.
