Police will be looking for drunken drivers Saturday night while conducting sobriety patrols in Ripon.
The goal is to reduce deaths and injuries caused by alcohol-related crashes, Ripon police said.
Officers will drive around with the sole purpose of finding impaired drivers.
The patrols are an effort to educate the public about the dangers of driving under the influence and to encourage designated drivers.
The patrols are funded by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety.
