Much of the damage was in an administrative room below the interrogation room.
Police officials said a small portion of the lobby, seen above, is open for business from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week.
The entire lobby is closed is closed on the weekend because of budget cuts and staff reductions.
To avoid possible delays, the department is encouraging the public to file police reports by phone or online when possible.
