Editor: In the past few days there have been letters to the editor about the election in Massachusetts.
One, "A little hasty," stated that the election results would begin a "wave" of victories for the tea party movement. Another, "Why tea's boiling," asks, "Why is the 'tea party' crowd mad?"
What these letters fail to address is that the voters who elected Scott Brown to the Senate were not the Republican/teabaggers but independent voters.
Those of us who have witnessed tea party rallies on television can see the anger in these rallies.
The American people will not forget that after eight years, this country was left bloodied and broke but not broken.
So, this wishful thinking of a "tidal wave" is really only a "ripple." Only a teabagger would have the audacity to think that 41 out of 100 is a majority.
