In reference to the July 25 letter "Legal magic in Martin case": The writer does not agree with the verdict in the Zimmerman case. I know that he and many others feel that way. They do not feel justice has been served and that is their right.
However, his statement "the gullible jury" struck me as discriminatory! The jury was all women, who I'm sure struggled with their decision. The writer obviously felt women could be swayed. I'm sure his thinking was men would have found Zimmerman guilty, but women are soft!
Does he not have a mother, wife, sister, daughter or other women in his life? Are they gullible, soft or unable to make gut-wretching decisions?
