I understand that the newest coffee house is within the legal limits but it doesn't make it right (Merced Sun-Star: "Mayor: Coffee shop within law," Aug. 9, page A-1).
This is not a pool or lake setting where this type of dress is appropriate. It's sad that businesses have to use sex to sell product.
Carl's Jr uses gorgeous women practically doing it with a hamburger. It's embarrassing to sit with my grandchildren when their commercials come on TV.
I'm not prudish but I think I have good taste and I just feel that the appropriateness of this coffee shop should be reconsidered and when it comes to hiring new employees how will it be handled if a woman with a less than perfect figure applies? Will discrimination happen? Or if a man applies?
