Richard Lewis: Low info level

A recent letter writer fits perfectly into the category of "low information writer." The writer blamed Congress' low approval rating on the Republicans ("Have an open mind," Aug. 12). What was missing, as usual, with this left-wing progressive viewpoint were any pertinent facts.
Let me list just a few things that were not Bush's fault. Our $7 deficit; the fast and furious debacle of sending weapons to the drug cartels in Mexico; the IRS targeting of groups who don't agree with Obama's socialism; the NSA spying on U.S. citizens; appointing known communists such Van Jones to his administration; presiding over an economy that has given us double-digit unemployment for multiple years while increasing food stamp usage to an all-time high. George Bush also did not kill coal-burning power plants and our ability to drill for our own oil to release us from Midle East control over our rising gas prices.
This writer likes John McCain and Lindsey Graham. Take them. Please.
