Steven Landis: Taxpayers will foot the cost of new policy

In response to the new policy change in dealing with injured animals: I believe that everyone started making a bigger deal than it should be. I ask, who will now pay for a vet to come see if the animal is able to be saved? John Q. Taxpayer, that’s who.

Also, you’re taking a officer of the street while he waits for a vet.

In the end, people don’t realize that the old policy saved money, not just peace of mind.
