What kind of news is dragging up trash? That is exactly what your Kevin Blake story was (Oct. 12, Page A1). If we were to put every incident with people of our community who have had alleged altercations with a spouse, girlfriend or companion, your paper would be full of this kind of news for a month.
We have serious issues – homelessness, crime, no jobs, businesses closing – and instead of looking for people who actually are willing and have brains to try to solve these issues for little pay, your reporters spend hours looking for no story, which is what this was.
I have received your paper since I was a child and read it even when there is no news of any substance in it, but have to wonder what part of news don’t you get? I am disappointed in this cheap news article. I hope you will show a little more class in your articles from now on.
I will vote for Kevin Blake! Before the article came out I was for him and now even more.
