Alice Beasley: Stop making excuses and vote next time

I am so tired of people who complain, at least the liberal media say they do, that they can’t get identification or get to the polls to vote. I was at the county administration building on Election Day and met the nicest woman. She was moving slowly using a quad cane that was missing one of the rubber tips. She told me where she lived and she had walked to vote at the county building and was walking home. It was seven to eight blocks each way. I offered to give her a ride home, but she declined, saying she had walked there and would walk home. She is 93 years young!

So stop with the excuses and get out and do your civic duty next time.
