Florence Lambert Compassion for Americans

“A lack of compassion for refugee children at border” (Letters, Aug. 1): To the writer: please be advised I clean my own house, “Maria” does not.

Re: “A lack of compassion for refugee children at border” (Letters, Aug. 1): To the writer: please be advised I clean my own house, “Maria” does not. I prune my own grapes, “Juan” does not. I do eat tacos that I pay for myself; I do not drink tequila, but if I did, I would pay for it myself. You can sing this to the tune of anything you want – preferably “God Bless America,” my home-sweet-home, where I have lots of compassion for my own!
