Public safety is the No. 1 issue in this year’s Merced County elections. Don’t believe me? Read any news article from the last few months. I have worked for law enforcement agencies in Merced County for 13 years. In that time, John Pedrozo has stood up for those of us working to protect the county. The latest evidence: his support for Assemblyman Adam Gray’s work to fund a task force to fight gangs and reduce homicides.
Pedrozo’s value on the board of supervisors extends beyond his support for law enforcement. I also work as an enumerator for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and in that role I have had numerous conversations with John. He knows ag and is committed to protecting it as a key part of our local economy. Re-elect him for a safer and more prosperous county.
