Re “Bill aims to boost doctor training” (Page A1, Jan. 29): Born and Bred: Lets keep our doctors in the Central Valley. Health happens in communities that invest in their people and their future. The bills introduced by Sen. Anthony Cannella and Assemblyman Adam Gray SB131/AB174 tackles the San Joaquin’s Valley shortage of doctors by training more physicians in our region and attempting to keep them here.
With the overall success and expansion of the Affordable Care Act, more people are covered, but we need more doctors. I’m glad to see our state officials taking action to create a healthier community for all here in our Valley.
