Pedrozo to host Livingston meeting tonight

Merced County District 1 Supervisor John Pedrozo will host his annual town hall meeting in Livingston tonight, inside the Livingston City Council chambers at 6:30 p.m.
Pedrozo says the meetings allow constituents in his district the opportunity to speak directly to him and ask questions to other county department heads.
Each year, Pedrozo plans four meetings — in Le Grand, Planada, Livingston and south Merced.
For the first time, Pedrozo introduced a new one-on-one format to his ninth-annual meetings. The change has already garnered positive feedback from community members, Pedrozo said.
This year, he will kick off the meeting by introducing each department, then allow people to break into stations for one-on-one assistance from each department. Some of the departments include the human services agency, animal control, health, and the planning and building departments.
After tonight’s Livingston meeting, the next and final stop is South Merced on Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Sacred Heart Church Hall, starting at 6:30 p.m.
