A man reported a robbery Friday night in the 1000 block of R Street near 10th street, police reported.
Officers arrived at 10:18 p.m. and found the victim visibly shaken, but unhurt. The victim reported he'd left California Liquor and was walking south on R St. He was approached by two Latino men in their late 20s or early 30s, wearing all dark clothes, police said.
One of the men pulled out a chrome revolver and demanded the victim's wallet and cell-phone. They pushed the victim to the ground and pressed the gun to his head while they robbed him. The two robbers fled on-foot, westbound on 10th Street and were last seen getting into a white Volkswagen Jetta or Honda Civic type vehicle. The vehicle traveled westbound on 10th Street with its lights off. The robber holding the gun had facial hair and spoke English, police said.
Police are asking anyone with any information to call Sgt. Scott Skinner at (209) 385-6913, (209) 385-4702, or the department's tipline at (209) 385-4725. The public can send tips via anonymous text messages to police department by dialing "TIP411" (847411) and including the word "Comvip" as the "keyword" in the text message.
