Merced police officers arrested four juvenile gang members for allegedly getting drunk at a city cemetery Friday.
The Livingston teenagers were paying respects to a fellow gang member buried at the Merced Cemetery District and became loud and obnoxious, Lt. Bimley West said.
A police officer called to the B Street graveyard found them drunk, and they became belligerent and surrounded him, West said. He called other officers for backup around 12:30 p.m.
Three of the juveniles were arrested for being drunk in public and resisting arrest. The other one, 17, was arrested on a suspicion of the same charges, along with possessing cocaine.
West said they will be booked in the Merced County Jail.
