Caltrans said it would be sealing cracks on northbound Highway 99 starting Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. The right northbound lane from Canal Creek to the Atwater overhead will be worked on then.
The right lane on northbound 99 from the South Avenue off-ramp to the Merced/Stanislaus County line will be worked on beginning Wednesday, April 15, through Friday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 15-minute delays and take alternate routes if they can.
The agency also said it will alternately close the left and right lanes on southbound 99 from Lingard Road to the southbound on-ramp from Highway 140.
Work will begin Monday, April 13, through Tuesday, April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Crews will be striping the roadway and placing pavement markers in the area.
