A dairy worker in the Hilmar area was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning, according to the Merced County Sheriff's Department.
The victim was working on a dairy near Johnson Avenue and Columbus Road when a man walked up to him and pointed a gun at his face. The suspect demanded the victim's wallet and cell phone, and then smashed his car windows to steal the stereo and CDs. The suspect left in a small black sedan.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-6 Hispanic male, weighing approximately 135 pounds. He was wearing a baseball hat, black shirt and pants at the time of the incident, the sheriff's department said.
