With just over a month a half left before the state meet, the freshman shattered the Blue Devils' 200-yard backstroke record by three seconds.

  • The City of Merced's Jr. Warriors League has been chosen by the Golden State Warriors to participate in an exhibition game against the Patterson league on March 24 at Oracle Arena.

The game will take place before the Warriors take on Memphis later in the day. The two teams will be honored on the court during halftime of the Warriors game. The city will be sending a 10-player All-Star team of 12-14 year olds to represent the league.

Just two of the Jr. Warriors' 1,000 teams are chosen to participate in this game every year.
