The Buhach Colony football team will host its inaugural Thunder Football Golf Tournament on July 30 at Rancho Del Rey Golf Course. Registration for the City of Merced’s 2010 Youth NFL Flag Football Program will run from July 19-Aug. 27. The league is open to boys and girls and split in three age divisions from the third to eighth grade. Los Banos High School will host a basketball camp on Aug. 2-4 at Los Banos High School.The cost is $45 before July 19 and $55 after. The fee includes nine hours of instruction from LB boys and girls basketball coaches Corey Edmiston and Danny Crosby and the varsity boys and girls teams, a jump rope, basketball and camp t-shirt. The camp will focus on offensive and defensive footwork, ballhandling, shooting, passing, quickness training and team play. The California Youth Basketball League is registering for its summer 2010 season.
