Tucson, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Two-time All-ACC forward Ryan Anderson has decided to leave Boston College and will play his final collegiate season at the University of Arizona.
Anderson, who is entering his senior year, will have to sit out the 2014-15 campaign to satisfy NCAA transfer rules. He'll be eligible to play in the 2015-16 season.
During his three seasons at BC, Anderson averaged 13.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in 95 games.
"Ryan Anderson is an incredibly productive basketball player," Arizona coach Sean Miller said. "He was a double-figure scorer and an excellent rebounder in all three of his seasons in the ACC. He has shown a great ability to draw fouls and get to the free throw line."
Anderson shot 46.6 percent from the field during his time at Boston College. He compiled 20 double-doubles. Last season, he was second on BC in scoring at 14.3 points to go with a team-best 7.3 rebounds.
