An empty field near Joe Stefani School in Merced has been turned into a small garbage dump, giving a Tipster cause for concern.
A 6-foot-high chain link fence is all that separates dozens of bouncing youngsters at Joe Stefani School from a barren field littered with garbage.
That field, one tipster says, is a hazard to the students who take the field as a shortcut to and from the campus.
