It is joining with the Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce to provide this service to anyone needing business counseling. ‘Flags for Warrior’

is taking orders

The American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 83, is taking orders and renewals for its “Flags for Warriors” program. Flags will bear the name and photo of your warrior and will be posted in front of the Veterans Hall on Memorial Day, July Fourth, Patriot’s Day and Veterans Day. Each flag is $10. Veterans of Foreign Wars can help get benefits

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9946 has been serving the needs of veterans and their families for more than 62 years. It is open to any veteran whose service included combat or a combat operation. Habitat for Humanity seeking volunteers

Habitat for Humanity of Merced County is looking for people with construction experience and willing hearts and hands to work on short-term projects for senior and handicapped citizens. There will be an orientation at 7 p.m. today at St. Paul Lutheran Church Outreach Ministry Center, 2916 N. McKee Road.

Used goods benefit Central Valley pets

Techs for Pets is collecting furniture, knickknacks, cookware, vintage items, electronics – anything that you don’t use any longer – to sell at the nonprofit’s yard sales.
