Jordyn Woods Turns Her Lucky Knicks Purse Into Shoes After Bag Ban at MSG
Jordyn Woods found a creative way to bring a piece of her lucky purse into the New York Knicks game.
"This has been a topic for the whole day," Woods, 28, said via TikTok on Monday, June 8, ahead of Game 3 during the NBA Finals. "What am I going to do since Trump banned the bags?" (With the presence of President Donald Trump at the game, Madison Square Garden banned all bags as an extra security measure.)
She continued, "I might have just done the ultimate girl boss thing and turned my bag into a shoe for the day." Woods, who is engaged to Karl-Anthony Towns, then held up a shoe version of her Woods by Jordyn lucky bag, which she's had with her at every game recent game the Knicks have won.
The bright orange pumps featured a flip-flop strap with a small boot design and stiletto heel.
"I'm gonna see if I can find a way to get Karl to get the bag in, but if not, we have some shoes. Happy game day!" The shoes were a perfect match to her orange faux ostrich leather bag, which features a long crossbody strap and a spotted design.
"Happy game day 🧡💙 the show doesn't stop," Woods captioned the post.
Towns, 30, was seen carrying an oversized Birkin bag into Madison Square Garden, which fans hoped contained Woods' purse. The Knicks ended up losing to the San Antonio Spurs with a final score of 111-115.
For the game, Woods looked as cool as ever in a patchwork top made of multiple Knicks shirts. She styled the look with baggy blue jeans.
Woods and Towns met through mutual friends and started dating in 2020. They made their relationship Instagram official in September of that year while vacationing together. In December 2025, Towns got down on one knee and proposed to Woods on a rooftop in New York City on Christmas Eve.
