There was really nothing else Merced girls coach John Bliss could say.
Not after watching his team's season come to an end after an 80-55 drubbing by Sacramento Burbank Thursday night in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoffs.
"Ultimately, we were just outmanned," Bliss said. "When you lose by 30 points, you can't really say anything else."
Burbank (15-7) came in with a swagger and Merced did little to stand in the way.

Merced was out-rebounded, out-hustled and outplayed as Burbank opened up a 42-20 lead late in the second quarter.
When the guard tandem of Lauren Goodman (16 points) and Whitney Thomas (11) weren't making shots, they were setting up post players Joslynn Frazer (23) and Rica Doss (13) for easy baskets.
"In their league, every night out they play a team with the same moxie and edge we don't see," Bliss said. "Anyone sitting in the stands could see the huge difference in athleticism.
"We're so used to using our athleticism, just going up and getting the rebound, being the quicker team -- you can't be too dependent on that.
"There's always somebody better than you. Tonight (Thomas and Goodman) were running the show."
Rachel Turner came off the bench to lead Merced (18-9) with 12 points.
Mercedes Lee and Karine Meyer both scored 10.
"I don't think we really played like a team," Turner said. "It was crazy. It was like everybody just gave up. I don't know what happened."
Burbank will face No. 3 Lodi in the quarterfinals on Saturday at Cosumnes River College.
Merced's season is over after another first-round loss.
"We didn't get back, we didn't rebound," Lee said. "We didn't play well. We had to play like we did against Golden Valley last week."
Unfortunately, Burbank was nothing like Golden Valley.
