Felicia Fitzgerald, 32, of Merced, was arrested on drug charges Friday afternoon in the 3100 block of College Avenue following a parole search.
Sgt. Curt Gorman, supervisor of the Merced Police Department's Gang Violence Suppression Unit, said officers were checking the apartment of a parolee to see if he was complying with his parole conditions.
During the search, officers found a small amount of marijuana and Vicodin not prescribed to Fitzgerald. A quarter-ounce of methamphetamine was found on Fitzgerald during a more thorough search at the Merced County Jail, Gorman said.
Fitzgerald was booked on charges of possession of crystal meth, possession of marijuana and possession of Vicodin.

She remained in custody Sunday night in Merced County Jail in lieu of $20,100 bail, according to a correctional official. The parolee was arrested for parole violation.
