ATWATER -- Dylan Floro barely had time to take off his batting gloves. The Buhach Colony junior had just returned to the dugout after crushing a two-run homer when, two batters later, teammate Justin Koehler launched a home run over the left-field fence.
It was that kind of night for BC, which wrapped up its second straight Central California Conference championship with an 11-1 win over cross-town rival Atwater in front of a crowd of about 1,000 people Thursday night at Memorial Ballpark.
"It was a fun night," said Floro, who added a triple in his next at-bat and scored three runs . "I finally got my bat going.
"The whole team was hitting the ball. That's nice to see going into the playoffs."

Koehler, Markus Melgosa and Art Corona also finished with a pair of hits for Buhach Colony (10-2 CCC, 23-4) in a game stopped after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.
"We've been seeing the ball well," Buhach coach Wayne Fitzgerald said. "It was good to see because we had some guys just missing in their at-bats.
"They take it tough. It's nice to see some of the balls fall in."
The conference title was a nice accomplishment, but hardly the ultimate goal for a team ranked 18th in the state by CalHiSports.com.
"It's nice but we haven't done anything yet," Koehler said. "We're not satisfied. For some of us, this was our last game in Atwater and against our rival.
"We got a lot of energy from the crowd and we played our brand of baseball."
Buhach Colony will open the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I South playoffs on Thursday at the University of the Pacific against the San Joaquin Athletic Association runner-up.
Fitzgerald's boys have their eyes set on a section title.
"That's the mentality of the this group," Fitzgerald said. "They've won the CCC before and been to the section playoffs.
"If you never knew that, winning the CCC would be fulfilling.
"It is a good feeling, but these guys have been to sections and they feel they have unfinished business to do."
