MODESTO -- A season of firsts continues for the Buhach Colony boys water polo today.
Fresh off clinching a share of its first Central California Conference title, Rodd Parker and his boys will play in their first postseason game as the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs begin today at Johansen.
Buhach Colony (23-4) opens against Lodi Tokay at 8 a.m.
BC defeated Tokay 10-6 in the DeLong Tournament earlier this year.

"We can take a lot of confidence because we've beat them, but the playoffs are different than a tournament," Parker said.
"Our players are anxious to go."
Buhach Colony has been led by CCC Goalie of the Year William Coate.
Devin Stone and Kevin Rozas have led the offensive charge.
Merced will also be in action against Stockton St. Mary's at 1 p.m.
The girls playoffs begin on Saturday with Merced, Golden Valley and Los Banos all advancing to the postseason.
GV has the toughest matchup in perennial section power Johansen in a 10 a.m. game. Los Banos faces Napa at 9 a.m.
Merced will open against Lodi at 2 p.m.
"They have one big go-to girl," said Merced coach Jon Dibblee, whose team comes in with an 18-9 record.
"Obviously, we'll have to watch her. They will also drop down to the 2-meter on us, so we'll have to bring the ball down or run people through.
"I can see them blowing us out or us winning a close game."
