The piano students of Nancy Metcalf will present their spring recital on Sunday, April 26 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Buhach Colony High School in Atwater, located at 1800 Buhach Road (corner of Buhach Rd. and Avenue Two).
The Sonora Spring Festival will be held in historic downtown Sonora on Saturday, April 25. Stroll along this quaint town to watch a variety of artists and craftsmen show their talents while enjoying live music, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Blues Festival and Barbeque benefiting the Madera Community Hospital (to purchase medical equipment) will be held Saturday, April 25, from 6:30 p.m. until midnight, at the Hartfield Hall, Madera District Fairgrounds.
Every Saturday in Coulterville from April through September at 1 p.m. the Coulterville Claim Jumpers battle on Main Street.
And Customer Appreciation Day will be Saturday, April 25 beginning at 9 a.m. at the New Melones Dam, remembering the dedication of the landmark 30 years ago, located at 6850 Studhorse Flat Road off Highway 49 near Sonora. Fees will not be charged.
