Expect delays on Highway 59 due to overturned hay truck

Both lanes on Highway 59 have been reopened after a hay truck overturned this morning, California Department of Transportation reported.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for more than three hours as crews worked to clear the load of hay from the roadway.

California Highway Patrol responded to the incident at 6:40 a.m. just south of Sandy Mush Road.

No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported, according to CHP.
