The San Joaquin Valley Viticulture group will meet to discuss raisin issues on Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fresno Farm Bureau, 1274 W. Hedges in Fresno.
Topics will include weather and its effects on grape-growing and disease management; growers' perspective on producing the 2010 crop; pruning overhead dried-on-the-vine raisins to optimize yield and quality; and how packers will deal with the 2010 raisin crop.
Registration fee is $10 and includes lunch. The public is invited to attend.
