Open Cockpit Day allows visitors the chance to get an up-close look at some of the museum’s more than 80 aircraft, ranging from pre-World War II to the present day.

Standard admission tickets are: $25 for adults, $20 for seniors 65 and over, $15 for children 6-17 and free for children 5 and under. Active and retired military get in with ID for $20.
Tickets can be purchased at the museum’s website, castleairmuseum.org.
The event features open aircraft for viewing, including the giant B-52 Stratofortress.
There will be live music, a beer garden, petting zoo, food, helicopter rides (extra purchase) and more.
Retired pilots and veterans will be providing information about the museum’s planes.
Besides Open Cockpit Day, the museum is open daily, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last admission at 3:15). It is closed for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Group tour rates are available.
