Merced County Sheriff's investigators arrested nine people Friday who allegedly were involved in an April 11 stabbing.
The suspects arrested included five adults and four juveniles -- all of whom allgedly held an 18-year old male victim down, kicked him and beat him. The victim suffered five stab wounds -- but has recovered from his injuries after being treated at a hospital, according the sheriff's investigators.
The adult suspects who were arrested are Christian Ruiz, 24, Ismael Lizarraga, Luis Chavez, Eric Ramirez, and Aldo Lopez -- all of whom are Delhi residents.
Sheriff's investigators are also searching for a tenth suspect, Gustavo Casas, 19, of Delhi. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's department at (209) 385-7445.
