Merced police reported this morning a case of what-doesn't-fit: Officers suspected something was amiss when, on a warm Thursday evening, they noticed two teenage boys on the street wearing black sweatshirts. And one of them wore a pair of gloves, too.
Officers stopped to question the boys, both 15, and found one of them carrying two screwdrivers hidden in his waistband.
Further investigation led the officers to the boys' home where, after receiving permission to conduct a search, they found a small amount of cocaine, a loaded Glock .45-caliber pistol and a loaded .25-caliber pistol.
The Glock pistol was reported stolen out of Oroville.
