Seven people were arrested as Merced County Sheriff's detectives conducted a "zero tolerance" patrol in Delhi Thursday night.
The suspects were arrested on a variety of charges, including warrants, drunken driving and drug violations. The crime sweep was prompted by two recent stabbings and other violent activities in Delhi, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Among those arrested were Miguel Melgoza, 21, of Turlock, on suspicion for possessing a controlled substance, and Daniel Rodenber, 32, of Stevinson, for failing to register as a sex offender
