A father and son were arrested by Merced police Friday for making threats to neighbors, police said.
Raymond Estrada, 34, and his 15-year-old son were taken into custody after their neighbors on the 3200 block of Denver Avenue said they threatened them. Police said that the teen threatened the residents on Sept. 22 with a handgun, and later that week, Raymond Estrada found the same people and asked why they were threatening his son. Estrada then used a screwdriver to threaten them, police said. The victims told police they wanted too be left alone and didn't threaten or fight the father and son.
Both Estrada and his son were arrested and booked into Merced County Jail on weapons and gang charges.
