No one was hurt in a house fire reported in Stevinson late Tuesday night, near Hatfield and River Roads.
The fire was reported at 10:50 p.m. and the cause hasn't been determined, according to Engineer Jose Quintana of Cal Fire's Stevinson station. The power hadn't been turned off inside the home.
The house had been unoccupied for at least three days, and no one was inside when firefighters arrived at the scene.
A dog and at least two of her puppies survived the fire, although some of her puppies died.

The two-story, 3,000-square-foot home was about 80 percent engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Quintana said the house was destroyed by the blaze.
No neighboring structures were damaged by the fire.
About 20 firefighters from Cal Fire responded to the scene, which included three engines, three water tenders, two squads and a battalion chief.
