The city of Merced Housing Program said it will hold a public meeting Wednesday as part of its update of the HUD Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan.
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m., in the Sam Pipes Room on the first floor of the Merced Civic Center, 678 W. 18th St.
The public is invited to comment on the needs and priorities of the city housing funds over the next five years. The funds come from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The Consolidated Plan and Action Plan are comprehensive planning documents used to identify the overall needs for affordable and supporting housing, along with community development. The plans outline strategies to address those needs.
