'Community Connections' radio show discusses Cap & Town Festival

The upcoming Cap & Town Festival will be among the topics featured on "Community Connections," a new public service radio show on KYOS 1480 AM.

Other discussion topics on the hour-long show include community days in Planada and Le Grand, new air service to Las Vegas, UC Merced activities and the Atwater Police Athletic League.

Guests will include Merced County Supervisor John Pedrozo, Merced Airport Superintendent Ron Elliott and Sober Grad Night volunteer Debbie Hamrick.

The show airs on KYOS at 7 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The show is hosted by Nathan Quevedo, public information officer for the Merced County Office of Education and engineered by Rick McMillion. The show is produced by the Merced County Office of Education, the City of Merced public information office and Roger Wood, in association with UC Merced and the County of Merced.
