Helping out the family of shooting victim DeAngelo Smith

Ruben Ceja lends a hand washing cars to the Golden Valley wrestling team to raise money for his childhood friend DeAngelo Smith who was shot last Friday night outside of his Merced apartment.
Money raised from the car wash held at Golden Valley High School Friday afternoon will go to help DeAngelo's family cover funeral costs. 
There will be a reception for D'Angleo today following the memorial service. The viewing begins at 9am at the Church of the Living God on Child's Avenue in Merced, with the memorial service to follow at 10am. The reception will be held at the Sunnyview Apartments Recreation Center on D Street around 11:30.

The Golden Valley wrestling team raises money for the family of DeAngelo Smith, who was shot to death a week ago outside of his Merced apartment.

Money raised from the car wash will go to help Smith’s family cover funeral costs.
