The Merced County Fair said that those who entered exhibits in this year’s fair face a deadline of Saturday, June 5, to bring them to the fairgrounds at 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
There are a few exceptions, but most exhibits must be received June 5. Items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for divisions, including crafts and hobbies, clothing and textiles, preserved foods, fine arts and photography. The deadline to submit fair entry forms already has passed.
One of the fair’s highlights is the chance to see their arts, crafts, hobbies and other talents displayed at the annual event. “Wetlands, Water and Wildlife” is the theme of the 119th fair. The fair is Tuesday, June 15, through Sunday, June 20.
