GVHS Cardinal Regime wins big at Santa Cruz Band Review

The Golden Valley "Cardinal Regime" said it traveled and competed Saturday, Oct. 16, in a field of 44 high school bands from Northern California at the Santa Cruz Band Review.

They earned all of the sweepstakes awards for the day, as well as the top percussion score, earning them the 1st place award in their division as well as the top score overall:

* Grand Sweepstakes - Score of 96.15* Showmanship Sweepstakes - Score of 279.0* Music Sweepstakes - Score of 490.0* Marching Sweepstakes - Score of 192.0* Auxiliary Sweepstakes - Score of 91.5* 1st Place Percussion - Score of 76.0* 3rd Place Mace Drum Major - Score of 87.8
