Hunters can speak their mind at DFG public meeting Nov. 18 in Sacto

Hunters who want a say in how game hunting and falconry regulations are set by the California Department of Fish and Game will get a chance to speak at a public meeting on the 2011 regulations on Nov. 18 in the Wildlife Branch conference room, 1812 9th St. in Sacramento.

Comments and suggestions will be incorporated into draft Environmental Impact Reports that will gauge the potential effects of changes in the annual hunting regulations for black bear, deer, waterfowl, coot and moorhen, as well as the practice of falconry.

Those who can't attend the meeting can submit comments by e-mail to wildlifestrategy@dfg.ca.gov.
