Rural Energy for American Program will provide grants of up to $50K

The Office of Community and Economic Development at Fresno State University said the Rural Energy for America Program will provide funds to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to conduct feasibility studies for renewable energy systems.

The program is designed to help agricultural producers and rural small businesses reduce energy costs and consumption and help meet the nations critical energy needs. The grants are awarded on a competitive basis and can be up to 25 percent of total eligible project costs. Grants are limited to $50,000 for renewable energy feasibility studies.
