Delhi mobile home fire results in $10K in damage, no injuries

Cal-Fire said a mobile home fire early Wednesday on Campground Road near Marriott Avenue in Delhi caused about $10,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.

On Wednesday at 2:09 a.m. firefighters from Merced County Fire Department responded to a structure in Delhi. Firefighters contained the fire to a mobile home, and prevented the fire from spreading to a nearby home. The mobile home sustained an estimated $10,000 in damages. The fire is under investigation.

A total of 10 firefighters, three Merced County fire engines, two Merced County water tenders and two chief officers responded to the call.

The cooperating agencies were Merced County Fire Department and Cal-Fire.
