The city of Merced said it finished the final draft of the Urban Water Management Plan 2010 and will hold a public workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 25.
The workshop will provide an opportunity for the city’s water customers, residents, and employees to learn about the current and future water supply of the city. The city supplies more than seven billion gallons of water a year to its 80,000 residents and businesses.
The workshop will be held in the Sam Pipes Room, at the Civic Center, 678 W. 18th Street, Merced, CA.
The Final Draft Plan and the proposed changes and amendments are available for public inspection at the office of the Engineering Department, Second Floor, Civic Center, and the Public Works Department, 1776 Grogan Avenue, Merced. In addition, the plan can be viewed and printed from the city’s website: www.cityofmerced.org. The public review period is scheduled through June 20.
