Caltrans work next week to partly close Highway 99 from Bear Creek to Black Rascal Canal

Caltrans said it will perform pavement repairs on southbound Highway 99 from Bear Creek to Black Rascal Canal, resulting in some closures.

Work will close the left shoulder, left lane, the right lane and right shoulder on southbound 99 from Bear Creek to Black Rascal Canal beginning Monday, May 31, through Friday, June 3, from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.

The southbound on-ramp from 16th Street will close beginning Monday, May 31, through Friday, June 3, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

The agency also said it will perform one-way traffic control on Highway 33 from Plaza Road to Sullivan Road/Junction 140.

Work will occur beginning Monday, May 31, through Friday, June 3, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Crews will pave the road in this location. Motorists should expect 15-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

The work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change based on weather conditions.
