Caltrans to do one-way traffic control in county next week at several locations

Caltrans will perform one-way traffic control on Highway 33 from Fahey Road to the Highway 140/Sullivan Road junction in Merced County.. Work will begin on Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews will also be working in this location on Friday, June 10, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will pave the road in this location.

The agency also said it will perform one-way traffic control on Highway 140 from Sultana Drive to the McSwain Road junction. Work will occur Monday, June 6, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews will pave the roadway there.

Caltrans will also do one-way traffic control on Highway 140 from Lincoln Boulevard to Sultana Drive. Work will occur on Wednesday, June 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will test the pavement.

The agency will perform one-way traffic control on Highway 59 from Black Rascal Creek to Edendale Creek. Work will begin Monday, June 6, through Friday, June 10, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crews will pave the road.

Motorists should expect 15-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change based on weather conditions.--Sun-Star Staff
