An invasive weed workshop will be held Wednesday, July 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at McCay Hall in Catheys Valley.
The workshop, sponsored by the University of California Cooperative Extension and the Mariposa County agricultural commissioner, will look at pesticide laws and regulations, endangered species in California, spongeplant in California waterways, a project on yellow star thistle and glyphosate resistant weeds in orchards and vineyards.
The workshop is worth five hours continuing education, and the cost is $35. Food will be catered. For more information, call (209) 966-2417.
